Cub Scout jumble sale Saturday 20th November
1st Loddon Cub Pack
On the morning of Saturday 20th November, 1st Loddon Cub Pack will be holding a jumble sale at The Hollies in Loddon to raise funds to go towards an exciting Pack trip next year. And they are after all the help and support they can muster!
To make the sale a good ‘un the Cub Pack need as much jumble as they can get their paws on. So if the house needs a bit of a clear out and you’ve got clothes, books, and bric-a-brac aplenty why not donate them to 1st Loddon for the event.
At their last jumble sale, held in Spring this year, the Cub Pack raised £400 which has been put aside to go towards next years trip, the details of which are still being decided. The group does not get any funding and events, including annual Cub Camps, have to be organized from subsidies and donations, so they will be hoping for a busy jumble sale a week tomorrow.
Along with jumble galore there will also be a cake stall and a tombola, with all stalls being manned by cubs and their parents from 10am to 12pm. And of course the Cub’s, aged between 8 and 10 ½ years, would be delighted if you could make it to The Hollies (next to Loddon Post Office) on Saturday morning to have a rummage through the stalls.
