Recently added to the ‘upcoming events’ page…

Over the last couple of days a few new events have appeared on The Loddon Eye’s list.

Firstly, an event being held at Loddon Library this Saturday (18th December). Susannah is running a Christmas Storytime for children under 7 and will include Christmas stories, songs and a bit of colouring! The event runs from 10.30-11am and all are welcome.

Secondly, there has been a slight correction. The next Loddon Community Cinema showing, which was previously listed as taking place on the 22nd, is actually happening on the 21st. They will be showing ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ at St John’s Lecture Hall at 7pm next Tuesday.

Thirdly, all of the dates for The Loddon Players 2011 pantomime have been added to the events list. Though previously mentioned here, all of the dates and details of the showings taking place throughout January are now seamlessly integrated into The Loddon Eye’s calender of events.

Finally, another rather exciting announcement from a good friend of The Loddon Eye… Loddon Mill Arts have announced the first comedy event of 2011. On 28th January the Loddon Mill will play host to a plethora of comic talent in celebration of Burns night. Guests include Tim Clarke, Toby Brown, Diane Spencer and the evening is to be hosted by Kevin Shepherd. The venue has a licensed bar and with tickets just £10 this promises to be another great evening at the Mill.
